Once you have you Event Template created, scheduling the Event is super simple! Click on Schedule Events, then click on the Schedule Event Button.
You'll be presented with a new window for scheduling your event. Choose the Date you wish the Event to start, then choose the Event Template to use. If you want this event to be public (shown on your portal/website) then leave the "Show this event..." checked. Now hit save!
Congratulations! You've just scheduled your first event! This event now has a default registration page where you can send users.
"But wait! What are all these links?"
Well, let's go through them:
This allows you to Edit certain aspects of the Event you just scheduled. Most notable is changing the start date, which is great if you meant to start on Monday but accidentally choose Sunday! You can also customize the message the user receives when the registration has passed or is full.
Pretty easy, delete the event. This does NOT delete the Event Template, just the Scheduled Event.
Opens the Registration Page for this Event. This is the page where you'll send people to sign-up for your event.
This link opens the Event. It's only available once the event has started. If that date hasn't arrived yet, this link will not be available.
Broadcast a Message to all your Registered Users. See: Send a message to all my....
Copies the Event Registration link to your clipboard. Just a quick way of getting a link to the registration page.
Exactly the same as above, EXCEPT, it's specific for pasting into social media posts. (Like Facebook) Using this link will ensure the social media site will grab your image and other event data.
This sets your event active or not. When it's on (as shown), your event is available for registration, viewing, etc. When it's off, the event is closed. No one can view or register for the event.
