In a word, no. This is simply an option your participants can choose in their profile and follow the directions below.
I'm a My Event Cafe user, how do I get setup using Telegram?
If you've never used Telegram, go to your cell phone store, install Telegram, and setup your Telegram Account.
- Now, from your phone, open this link
- Telegram will open with the following intro screen. Just click "Start"
- Now the following screen will display. Click "Link My Account".
You may get a popup about opening a link to My Event Cafe. Click "Open"
- Your Browser should open and take you to your My Event Cafe profile page (you may have to login first). At this point your notification method should say Telegram and you should have received a success message in your Telegram App.
